[It's possible he's not making sense. He is decently out of it after the amount of time he had spent trying to stabilize Merrick. And trying to calm Cyril down.]
There isn't anything you can do. I just wanted to keep you in the loop since it seemed the others hadn't thought of it.
Merrick was poisoned. I assume they meant it to kill him, but it didn't... We've stabilized him, but he's still fighting it off.
But... but he's healing? He's going to be all right, isn't he?
[ There's a tremble to her voice that she's trying to keep under control. The thought of losing Merrick makes her sick to her stomach, and the world without him wouldn't feel right at all. ]
He's fighting off the poison, yes. It's been in his system for a while so there wasn't much we could do with magic. He's doing better than he was before when I found him, but now there is a fever. I'll be checking up on him, but Cyril is watching over him.
[There's a sigh and soft amount of muttering as he thinks about her last question.]
This morning, but I found him closer to the afternoon.
[ Okay, now she's crying. She's seen Merrick vulnerable before and near death, but now she's far away and she can't do anything. Even if she was at Skyhold, she couldn't combat poison, but she could at least hold his hand, and maybe be there to make sure Cyril got some sleep too. ]
Is he in pain?
[ She sniffles and wipes the tears from her face, hoping her voice hasn't become hard to hear. ]
[He hadn't meant to make her cry, but he can understand why she does.]
I wish I could say 'no'. We made him as comfortable as we could and working on breaking the fever. We just have to wait for the poison to leave his system.
[ She lets out a noise that's both frustrated and anguished. First Sina, now Merrick? She needs to come back to Skyhold, but she's volunteered for a mission and she can't abandon the others on her team. ]
If anything changes -- whether he's better or worse -- you'll let me know, won't you?
Cyril is watching him right now. At the moment... I don't think he can handle having someone else fuss over Merrick at the moment. I told him to contact me or any other healer if he notices anything wrong though.
[ He's probably tired, and hungry, and incredibly stressed right now. And Ellana isn't sure she's ever felt so helpless before. When she gets back, she'll be spending time with all her friends and letting them know how much they mean to her. ]

Not really. Zevran was taken and Merrick got caught up in it. He's in pretty rough shape.

What? What do you mean? How--? What's happened to Merrick? Is there anything I can do?

How long will that take to happen?

[He sighs, sounding even more tired than a moment ago.]
This isn't a poison I've dealt with before. It was potent though... it will probably be a bit.

I'm sorry, Ellana.
I'll be sure to keep you updated on Merrick's condition.

[ She sniffles a few more times. ]
You sound tired. You should let another healer take over and get some rest.

Take care. Dareth shiral.
